Documentation regarding Nexus Market operational security, payment architecture, and vendor interaction standards. Read thoroughly before initiating transactions.

General Operations

Nexus Darknet is a decentralized marketplace infrastructure facilitating anonymous commerce. It operates on the Tor network, utilizing hidden services (.onion) to ensure user privacy. The platform integrates a walletless payment system supporting Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR), and Litecoin (LTC), designed to minimize centralized risk and enhance transaction security.

Connection requires the Tor Browser (v12.5+). For optimal operational security (OpSec), configure the browser security level to "Safer" or "Safest" to disable non-essential scripts. Obtain verified .onion mirrors from the provided Links page. Never access the market via clear-net proxies or gateways.

No PII (Personally Identifiable Information) is collected. Registration requires only a username, password, and withdrawal PIN. No email verification is performed. We strictly advise against using usernames linked to clear-net identities.

Security Architecture

Authenticity verification is paramount. Users should strictly utilize PGP signature verification for all .onion mirrors. Import the official Nexus Market public key found on trusted directories (e.g., Dread). Verify the signed message on the homepage to confirm the integrity of the onion address before inputting credentials.

For vendors, PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) 2FA and encryption of sensitive data are enforced at the code level. For buyers, manual PGP encryption of shipping details is strongly recommended. Do not rely on server-side auto-encryption. Always encrypt sensitive data locally before transmission.

Financial Protocols

Nexus accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Monero (XMR), and Litecoin (LTC). We strongly advocate for Monero usage. XMR employs RingCT and stealth addresses to completely obfuscate transaction history on the blockchain, providing a necessary layer of financial privacy that BTC and LTC cannot offer.

The walletless architecture prevents the accumulation of user funds in a central hot wallet. Users deposit only the exact amount required for a specific order or batch of orders. Funds are routed directly to the order escrow. This mitigates the risk of exit scams or seizures, as the platform does not hold surplus user capital.

Funds are held in multisig escrow until order finalization. Standard escrow duration for physical goods is vendor-defined (7-21 days). Funds are released upon user confirmation of receipt or auto-finalized if the timer expires without a dispute. Digital goods may have shorter auto-finalize windows (24-48 hours).

Deposits: 0%.
Withdrawals: 1% platform fee + dynamic network mining fee.
Orders: Commission is charged to the vendor. Buyers incur no additional fees on purchases unless an order is cancelled by the buyer (minor penalty may apply to prevent spam).

Deposits require blockchain confirmations before crediting.
• Bitcoin (BTC): 1 Confirmation (~10 mins)
• Monero (XMR): 10 Confirmations (~20 mins)
• Litecoin (LTC): 6 Confirmations (~15 mins)
Ensure your transaction has reached these thresholds on a block explorer before contacting support.

Order & Vendor Management

Finalize Early (FE) allows vendors with established trust ratings to receive funds upon marking an order as 'Shipped', bypassing standard escrow holding periods. This is a privilege, not a right. Buyers assume higher risk with FE orders and should only utilize this option with vendors demonstrating extensive positive feedback history.

Nexus enforces a zero-tolerance policy for specific categories. Prohibited items include: Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Fentanyl/Carfentanyl and analogues, weaponry/explosives, biological hazards, and murder-for-hire services. Violations result in immediate vendor ban and account termination.

Dispute initiation is available if an order is undelivered or non-compliant. Timeline: Within 3 days post-escrow expiry (physical) or 3 days post-delivery (digital). Moderators review chat logs and evidence. Failure to extend escrow or open a dispute before the timer renders funds finalized and unrecoverable.

Support & Connectivity

Onion services are susceptible to network congestion and DoS vectors. We maintain redundant mirrors to ensure uptime. If the primary link fails, cycle through the verified mirrors listed on the 'Links' page. All databases are synchronized in real-time.

Support is exclusively handled via the internal ticket system. Navigate to Dashboard > Support. Do not use Telegram, Discord, or Email for support requests; these external channels are insecure and unmonitored. Include relevant Transaction IDs (TXID) for expedited resolution.
